Alan Neider


ABOUT Alan Neider

Alan Neider (b. 1944 in Norfolk, Virginia) is an abstract painter based in Hamden, Connecticut. 
He received a AA from El Camino Jr. College, a BA in Ceramics from California State University at Long Beach, and an MFA in Sculpture from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. While in graduate school, Neider received a Robert Rauschenberg Work Grant and was accepted into the MacDowell Artists Colony. 

Neiders' solo exhibitions include those in Henri Gallery, Nancy Lurie Gallery,  Jan Cicero Gallery, among others. He has participated in many Duo show at The Carter-Burden Gallery and The 490 Atlantic Gallery as well as exhibited in numerous group exhibitions, including Galerie Kremers, Concepto Gallery, Sarah Bowen Gallery, and Laguna Art Museum.
